Saturday night Ron and I were laying in bed watching the news (oh yes, we are old geezers who watch the news in bed! And the 10 o'clock news nonetheless) and I asked him if he knew that Father's Day originated in Spokane. He was like, noooooo way, Spokane is barely on the map...I'm going to Google it. I was like great, you do that and what IF I am right, huh? Huh? HUH?
With little to no thought, I blurted out that I wanted a cute, summer-y white watch that I have been eying for months. Well all be a tinkers darn. I was RIGHT and I love it! Turns out that this year was the 100th celebration of Father's Day and it was founded by a local family right here in Spokane. A bit of trivia for ya'all.
