aNeMoNe

I am totally smitten over these beautiful, handmade paper flowers.  These are the work of local Spokane artists Nate and Mary Eberel.  You can visit their AMAZING flower shop aNeMoNe in downtown Spokane, at the Liberty Lake Farmers Market or online.

Nate and Mary have forever transformed the 'artificial' flower world with their beautifully constructed flowers.  The papers they use are to die for and sometimes even have a story behind them.  The stones and beads they use make the pieces magical.  Their store is like a little heaven--you walk in and are instantly happy.

I own several of their masterpieces and I get so many compliments.  Soon, I am going to have them create a wall piece for my entry with hawaiian inspired flowers flowing everywhere.  Stay tuned!

And, I should mention, these flowers make great accent pieces in vacation rentals.  I will be taking a few with me to Maui next month.  I despise fake flowers.  Live plants/flowers just don't work when you are a million miles away.  Paper flowers add a nice bit of life to the condo that I would not otherwise be able to have.  I can't wait for all the guest comments!
