southern lady

I was recently given a copy of the Southern Lady magazine.  I had never seen this magazine before and am actually not sure they sell it here in the Pacific Northwest.  What a great magazine.  It sure brought back a lot of memories of our time in Georgia and many trips to Savannah and Charleston.  Oh how I miss so many aspects of the South, mostly the weather, decor and sweet twangy accents of all the woman.

The current issue has a large spread on Charleston.  Oh my, Charleston is magnificent.  The architecture of the old buildings has been preserved to the nth degree and the decor is to die for.  One of my favorite things to do is hit the Saturday market in the heart of downtown and all the shops on Main Street.  The Isle of Palms was also just as amazing.  You could go from busy, metro Atlanta to sitting on a harbour in the Atlantic Coast.  So amazing.  I wanna go back.
