Cooper heard us getting ready to leave for dinner and he wanted to make sure he didn't miss the trip.  He waited patiently next to the car for almost 45 minutes.  In the end, he didn't get to go because it was far to hot out and someone would have called the doggie police on us.  Instead he stayed home and dug a big hole in the backyard, expressing his true feelings about the deal.
