aloha

We arrived in Maui yesterday and are just settling in at the condo.  I am so happy to be back on the islands.  I love the warm, humid air, the afternoon trade winds that whip through the house and low key, local culture.  It is so peaceful.

We haven't done much yet, but did make sure our favorite local bagel shop, Cafe @ la Plage in South Kihei, was still open.  This little cafe is AMAZING and is a great place to sit outside and chat with locals and enjoy a morning snack and a cup of coffee.  If you ever visit Maui, it is worth a trip

After a stroll to the Cafe we walked back to the condo via Charlie Young.  It is one of my favorite local beaches in Kihei.  It sure felt good to feel the powdery, sun soaked sand on my toes!

Well, we are off to the Cafe for a little breakfast.  Will be back to share more adventures shortly.
