My Franklin tore a ligament in his leg and now has the honor of wearing this fancy schmancy cast for at least the next week and a half. How did this happen you might ask? Franklin was at the park on Sunday playing ball with his grandparents and took off after the ball and BAM...injured! His knee area became swollen and was obviously very painful for him. He was having trouble walking and was putting very little weight on that leg. The vet told us that this is somewhat common in labs, which I had never heard before.
I feel so bad for my big boy. Seriously, this is the most wonderful dog on earth (I know, I know we all think our pets are the best....but seriously). If Franklin were human he would be right up there with the kind, loving soul of Mother Teresa.
